Join the DTC
The Darien Democratic Town Committee encourages qualified Democrats to run and serve in elected office and to serve on town boards and commissions. There are many ways to get involved:
The DTC meets once a month, usually on a Wednesday evening at Town Hall. Made up of 25 regular members, the Committee’s main activities include:
- selecting and supporting candidates for elective office
- assisting the Board of Selectmen in finding candidates for appointment to Town boards and commissions
- educating the public about local and national issues
- and a number of other activities

SERVE on THE RTM
This is an elected position on Darien’s legislative body. Members are elected to two-year terms. Learn more about serving on the RTM at the Town’s web site.
